Eli Tene, President Tene has mastered short sales since 1991. He specializes in foreclosures, residential and commercial real estate, debt and equity financing, loss mitigation and equity-based joint ventures. Over the past 19 years, Tene has negotiated thousands of short sale transactions, managed various real estate portfolios, and gained invaluable experience in pricing and analytics. Tene has been a panelist in conferences and seminars focusing on default services and has been a guest speaker on nationwide financial radio shows like “Talking Money”. Tene received his education at California State University, Northridge.
Gil Priel, Executive Vice President Priel has been involved in short sales for over 16 years. He began his 30-year real estate career in investment and development by privately funding a group of commercial and residential real estate acquisitions in the Los Angeles area. In 1980, Priel was appointed Vice President of Gor Construction and Development and later became the President of Priel Investment Properties, Inc. Ten years later, Priel joined forces with Eli Tene and together they focused on building loss mitigation as one of their main areas of expertise. Priel received his B.A. in Political Science from California State University, Northridge and holds a Law degree from Southwestern University School of Law.
Raffi Tal, Chief Operating Officer Tal has been involved in short sales since the early 90s. He has negotiated many short sale cases and currently oversees all the files as the Company’s manager. Under his leadership, I Short Sale Inc. has expanded its operations to become the nation’s leading firm in closing short sales. Tal received his B.A. in Accounting from California State University, Northridge.
Scott Sawyer, Vice President of Vendor Relations Sawyer has over 14 years of default mortgage experience with an extensive background in Loss Mitigation, Foreclosure, REO, Bankruptcy, Escrow Analysis, Investor Reporting and Due Diligence. Beginning his professional career in collections for Great Western Bank, Sawyer later joined California Federal Bank’s Loss Mitigation Department, which through several mergers,combined forces with Citigroup, the largest financial institution in the country. Responsible for Citigroup’s Loss Mitigation and Payment Processing Divisions, Sawyer succeeded in keeping the delinquency ratio down through proactive calling campaigns. He has worked closely with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and private investors over the years and has previously been a speaker for the UTA (United Trustees Association) and a former panelist for the USFN default seminar.
David Cavarra, Head Negotiator Cavarra has over ten years of investment banking and consulting experience specializing in Real Estate transactions. Currently, he serves as head negotiator at I Short Sale, Inc. Cavarra received his MBA with honors from Pepperdine University. Cavarra built the foundation for his business experience at PWC in New York. He has also started several companies with he has successfully sold. He has closed over 1000 shortsale and has been a regular on the Real Estate Hour on 97.1 FM.
